It's all about the dogs........
For many animal advocates, starting a rescue is a big step in helping end the homeless pets epidemic. Pit Sisters Rescue is a 100% volunteer based rescue organization. Everyone has full-time jobs, families, and many have several rescued dogs of their own. Each person donates their time, energy, and talents to benefit the organization and the animals we are trying to save.
Every day, Pit Sisters receives dozens of requests from people looking for homes for unwanted or neglected animals. Pit Sisters is focused on saving animals from local shelters throughout the Northeast Florida area.
For 2013 we are kicking off our 'Give A Voice' campaign allowing us to reach out to the community through multiple channels to have a higher impact on the number of animals lives we are able to touch.
It takes a lot more than good intentions to run a Pit Bull Rescue and that is why we hope you are visiting our site. We are always in need of foster families, adopters, and volunteers to allow us to continue our journey of saving one dog at a time.
